Kawasaki has reintroduced the Versys-X 300 for the year 2025, priced at Rs 3.80 lakh. This model retains the same engine and features as its predecessor, while also introducing a new color scheme along with updated graphics.

The Versys-X 300 Priced Higher than the KTM 390 Adventure
The Versys-X 300 had not been available in India for several years before its recent revival. In 2025, Kawasaki has brought back the Versys-X 300, now adorned with refreshed graphics and a new blue-and-white color option. The engine has seen updates to meet stricter emission regulations. Currently, despite speculation about potential local assembly in India, the Versys-X 300 is available as a completely built unit.
Powering the Versys-X 300 is a 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is now compliant with OBD-2B standards, delivering 40hp and 25.7Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed transmission that comes with a slip and assist clutch.
The motorcycle features a backbone frame supporting a 17-liter fuel tank. The suspension system comprises a 41mm telescopic fork with 130mm of travel in the front and a monoshock with 148mm of travel at the rear. The bike offers a ground clearance of 180mm and utilizes a combination of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels fitted with tubed tyres.
In terms of features, the Versys-X 300 presents a straightforward setup, including a digital-analog instrument cluster that features a gear position indicator along with dual-channel ABS.
With its price tag of Rs 3.80 lakh, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is positioned Rs 12,000 above the KTM 390 Adventure. While the KTM offers greater power and additional features, the Kawasaki model distinguishes itself with its extra cylinder.
