  1. Price protection program can be availed at any Mini India dealer
  2. Mini Cooper S price range is Rs 44.90 lakh-55.90 lakh, ex-showroom, India
  3. India-UK FTA could see a price reduction, hence the price protection scheme

Mini Cooper S Price Protection Assurance Program Explained

Cooper S buyers will receive benefits of any price reduction until 180 days after purchase

The Price Protection Assurance program allows buyers of the Mini 3-Door Cooper S to gain from any price decreases occurring within 180 days after their purchase. This offer is available for a limited time at all authorized Mini India dealerships. The Mini Cooper S is priced starting at Rs 44.90 lakh, with available variants including the Classic Pack at Rs 50.45 lakh, the Favoured Pack at Rs 53.40 lakh, and the Cooper S JCW Pack at Rs 55.90 lakh.

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, commented on this new initiative, stating, “Mini has always stood for innovation and a bold character. With the price protection assurance program for Mini 3-Door Cooper S, we are staying a step ahead and ensuring that customers can benefit from any major price reductions resulting from anticipated duty cuts. They can purchase their favorite MINI now without having to delay their decision.”

It is also important to note that the all-electric Mini Countryman does not qualify for this offer as it is produced in the BMW Group plant in Leipzig, Germany.

Mini Cooper S Price Could Reduce in the Coming Days

India-UK Free Trade Agreement Could Benefit Cooper S Buyers

As reported previously, several UK-manufactured models imported into India may experience a price drop due to the recently signed India-UK free trade agreement. According to the terms of the FTA, tariffs on “high-end cars” coming from the UK will decrease from 100 percent to 10 percent. However, specific details are still pending clarification by both governments, which has resulted in buyer hesitation regarding their purchases. British automotive brands such as Mini are witnessing a decline in inquiries as customers prefer to wait for more definitive information regarding the implications of the deal. The Mini Cooper S price protection program aims to alleviate some of these uncertainties.
