
TVS’s Jupiter scooter brand, initially launched as a 110cc model and later updated to a 125cc version, has achieved remarkable sales, reaching a total of 7.64 million units (75,46,852 units) by the end of March 2025. After factoring in 1,02,588 units sold in April 2025—an impressive 33 percent increase year-on-year from April 2024’s sales of 77,086 units—the cumulative total for the Jupiter series stands at 76,49,440 units. The brand has also teased the launch of the latest iteration of their 125cc scooter.

Performance Specifications
The current Jupiter 125 is equipped with a robust 124cc engine, generating 8.1 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque. Recently, TVS has shared teaser images of the upcoming Jupiter 125 on its dedicated model-specific Instagram handle, promising a ‘bold new look’ that emphasizes ‘Style, Power, Performance.’ While no specific details are available yet, the Jupiter 125 is expected to compete actively in a segment dominated by strong rivals like the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Hero Destini 125.
Currently, the TVS Jupiter 125 range, powered by the 124.8cc engine, is available in three variants. Pricing starts at Rs 80,000 for the base 110cc model and goes up to Rs 99,100 for the top-end Jupiter 125 Smart XConnect variant with disc brakes (ex-showroom Mumbai). Additionally, TVS is reportedly working on a CNG-powered version of the Jupiter, expected to launch later this year.
Impressive Sales Figures of the Jupiter Series
The Jupiter achieved its highest-ever 12-month sales figure in FY2025, with 11,07,285 units sold, marking a 31 percent year-on-year increase. This impressive performance contributed to TVS’s record scooter sales of 18,13,103 units in FY2025 and represented 31 percent of the Indian scooter industry’s record total of 35,19,225 units. October 2024 saw Jupiter’s best monthly sales, with 1,09,702 units sold.
In FY2025, Jupiter maintained its status as TVS’s best-selling two-wheeler, selling more than twice the amount of popular models like the Apache series motorcycles, Raider 125, NTorq 125, and XL 100 moped. Over the last 12 fiscal years, the TVS Jupiter has sold a staggering 7.54 million units, accounting for 62 percent of TVS Motor Co.’s total scooter sales of 12.10 million units. While the entry-level Jupiter 110 maintains steady demand, the demand for the Jupiter 125 continues to grow.
