Lovato CNG Kit for Citroen C3
Citroen India’s dealerships have partnered with Lovato for the supply and installation of CNG kits in the C3 hatchback. The kit features a single cylinder with a water equivalent capacity of 55 liters, allowing for a driving range of approximately 170-200 km on a full tank. The CNG kit is compatible exclusively with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, which delivers 82 hp and 115 Nm of torque when running on petrol. While Citroen has yet to disclose specific output figures for CNG operation, they assure an ARAI certified fuel economy of 28.1 km/kg. The vehicle comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the rear suspension has been enhanced to maintain ride quality similar to the standard petrol model.
