Hyundai and TVS Team Up to Improve Last-Mile Travel in India

Hyundai’s Micro Mobility Concept was revealed at Auto Expo 2025. The company is also talking to TVS Motor about teaming up to improve last-mile travel in India with new and advanced transportation solutions.

Hyundai’s Creative Micro Mobility Concept

Hyundai revealed its Micro Mobility Concept vehicles, which are set to transform the three-wheeler category. The concept includes Electric 3-wheelers (E3W) and Electric 4-wheelers (E4W).

The Electric 3 Wheelers (E3W) concept is designed to serve as a people mover, delivery vehicle, or emergency responder. It features large tires for rough terrains, adjustable height for navigating flooded streets during monsoon season, and foldable back seats for easier access, especially for wheelchair users.

The Electric 4 Wheeler (E4W) concept emphasizes a modular design to enhance practicality and simplify manufacturing. Hyundai’s design features an angled windshield for improved visibility and collision protection, a towing hook for easy recovery on challenging terrains, and a flat floor to ensure greater comfort.

The vehicles’ interiors use special heat-reducing paint, water-proof materials, and flexible storage spaces to handle India’s weather and busy city life. The design is called “Aakaashi Blue,” showing India’s big dreams and strong spirit.

Vision for Sustainable Mobility

SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design shared his care for the people of India and his plan to explore micro-mobility solutions that fit India’s special needs. He wants to redesign the traditional three-wheeler to make it safer and more eco-friendly.
