The outskirts of Mumbai transformed into a thrilling motorsport spectacle as Venomotorsportz hosted the Dirt Blazers 2025 event. Held at Venom Moto Park, this autocross competition featured a diverse range of vehicles, from rally-inspired sedans to rugged SUVs.

Driving a Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, Kartik Konchady achieved the fastest time of the day and triumphed in the 1651 to 2000cc class. Special guest Sanjay Takale, who made history as the first Indian driver to complete the Dakar Rally earlier this year, was also present at the event.

Dirt Blazers 2025 Results

Unlike a traditional race to the finish line, the autocross format challenges participants to navigate a set obstacle course in the shortest time possible. Events like Dirt Blazers play a vital role in promoting accessibility to motorsport, reflecting the flourishing off-road racing culture in India. The competition featured eight categories, each designed to evaluate various skill levels and vehicle capabilities.

Ladies Open Winner: Jhanvi Bhavsar

The Ladies Open class kicked off the event, with Jhanvi Bhavsar, also piloting a Polo GT TSI, dominating the track with an impressive time of 2 minutes 36.281 seconds. She was closely followed by Ashrafi Gaikwad and Natasha Duggal, all achieving clean, penalty-free laps.

SUV Open Winner: Fahad Kutty

The SUV Open class featured a remarkable lineup of modified Maruti Jimnys, which showcased their lifted and trail-tuned capabilities. Fahad Kutty clinched the top position with a scorching time of 2 minutes 36.143 seconds, outpacing seasoned competitors such as Shanawaz Khader and Mihir Dharkar in a fiercely contested session.

800 to 1100cc Winner: Nitish Chaudhari

Nitish Chaudhari stole the spotlight in the 800cc to 1100cc class with a fantastic lap time of 2 minutes 27.256 seconds. He was followed by Kaustabh Pitale in second place and Devang Kenia in third.

1101 to 1400cc Winner: Kushal Chaudhari

In the 1101 to 1400cc class, precision was key. Kushal Chaudhari emerged victorious with a winning time of 2 minutes 20.815 seconds, driving a Maruti Suzuki Swift. Close behind him was Fahad Kutty, showcasing his versatility across different categories.

1401 to 1650cc Winner: Devang Kenia

This class saw only two participants competing, with Devang Kenia claiming first place with a clean run of 3 minutes 11.372 seconds, followed by Amit Chavan.

1651 to 2000cc Winner: Kartik Konchady

Kartik Konchady excelled in the 1651 to 2000cc category, clocking a time of 2 minutes 18.401 seconds—making it the fastest time across all classes. Kaustubh Pitale finished in second, with Amit Chavan taking third place.

Amateur Open Winner: Raj Kadam

In the Amateur Open class, Raj Kadam demonstrated his racing prowess, completing a lap in 2 minutes 27.342 seconds to secure victory ahead of Virendra Mestry and Priyesh Jaiswal.

Unrestricted Open Winners: Mihir Dharkar and Kushal Chaudhari

In the Unrestricted Open class, Mihir Dharkar topped the 4W segment with a time of 2 minutes 35.464 seconds. Meanwhile, Kushal Chaudhari excelled in the 2W class, finishing with a remarkable time of 2 minutes 23.551 seconds. He narrowly surpassed Kartik Konchady (2 minutes 23.980 seconds) and Fahad Kutty (2 minutes 25.354 seconds) in a thrilling finish.
