Mahindra XEV 9e Tested Model and Price Details

The Mahindra XEV 9e model tested by Bharat NCAP was the top-spec Pack Three, equipped with a powerful 79kWh battery. However, the 5-star safety rating it earned applies to all four variants of the XEV 9e. This means no matter which version you choose, you’re getting a car that meets top safety standards.

Mahindra had earlier revealed the price of the entry-level Pack One variant, starting at ₹21.90 lakh. Recently, they announced that the top-spec Pack Three, with its 79kWh battery, costs ₹30.50 lakh. However, prices for the mid-range models Pack Two 59kWh and Pack Three 59kWh haven’t been disclosed yet, leaving some details to be unveiled. This makes the XEV 9e lineup diverse, catering to different needs and budgets, all while maintaining exceptional safety standards.

Mahindra XEV 9e Outstanding Safety Features for Adults

In the frontal crash test, the Mahindra XEV 9e scored an impressive 15.97 out of 16 points. This test checks how well the car protects important areas of the body during a head-on collision. The test also checked the lower legs (Tibias), and the results showed that both the passenger’s Tibias and the driver’s left Tibias were very well protected. However, the driver’s right Tibia was only adequately protected, which is still good, but not as strong as the left side.

In the side crash test, the Mahindra XEV 9e earned a perfect score of 16 out of 16 points. This test checks how safe the car is if it gets hit from the side.
