Choice of 40kWh and 52kWh Battery Packs

At its launch, Nissan will provide two configurations for the new Micra EV. The base model features a 40kWh battery connected to a 122hp motor generating 225Nm of torque, achieving a WLTP-tested range of 308 km. The higher-end variant is equipped with a 52kWh battery that powers a 150hp motor with 245Nm torque, extending the driving range to 408 km.

Distinctive and Modern Styling

The design of the new Micra draws significant inspiration from the Nissan 20-23 EV concept. This latest iteration presents compact dimensions (under 4 meters in length) and striking visual accents, including circular daytime running lights framing its rectangular headlights, gloss black body cladding, a black roof, and segmented circular tail lamps. The hatchback also incorporates silver accents on the front bumper and upper window line, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels and rear door handles that are mounted on the columns.

2025 Nissan Micra EV Launch Plans

Expected European Launch; Uncertainty for India

The production of the Micra EV will occur at Renault’s facility in Douai, France, with an anticipated launch in European markets by late 2025. Currently, there is no confirmation regarding the Micra EV being brought to India.

Nissan previously sold the fourth-gen Micra in India from 2010 until 2020, but as it stands, only a new compact MPV based on the Renault Triber and a mid-size SUV inspired by the upcoming Renault Duster are confirmed for the Indian market.
