Launch Details
The Nissan Magnite CNG made its debut on May 28, with prices commencing at Rs 6.89 lakh and reaching up to Rs 10.02 lakh. From June 1, bookings will be accepted at authorized Nissan dealers across seven states, including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka. This announcement aligns with earlier insights about the anticipated introduction of the Magnite CNG model.
CNG Kit and Variants
Nissan has confirmed that the Magnite facelift can accommodate a retrofit CNG kit, although testing on the pre-facelift version has yet to occur.

Nissan provides the single-cylinder CNG kit exclusively for the Magnite equipped with the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. As the Magnite featuring the 1.0-litre NA engine comes in 6 variants, the CNG kit is available for the same 6 variants, priced at Rs 75,000 more.
The CNG system is sourced from Motozen and will be installed at authorized government fitment centres. Buyers will also benefit from a standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km with the CNG fitment. Additionally, plans for Phase 2 include extending dealer-level CNG fitment to additional states across the country.
