Tata Altroz Facelift Engine and Gearbox Options

New AMT Option Available for 1.2 Petrol Engine

The Altroz facelift continues with the engine options of its predecessor. It retains the 86hp, 1.2-liter petrol engine available with manual and 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions; the 90hp, 1.5-liter diesel engine also paired with a manual gearbox, capable of a 0-100 kph sprint in 12.8 seconds; and the 74hp, 1.2-liter CNG variant with a manual transmission. An interesting addition is the new 5-speed AMT option for the petrol variant. However, it’s worth noting that the sporty 120hp, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine from the Altroz Racer is not offered in this updated hatchback model. It remains unclear if Tata Motors plans to introduce the sportier Racer variant alongside the Altroz facelift.
