Previous reports highlighted a patent image of the Sierra, showcasing how the final production SUV’s exterior design will differ from the concept. Notably, features like the distinct B-pillar kink and roof rails, previously seen in the Sierra concept, are not present. Additionally, the alloy wheel design deviates from the star-like appearance of the prototype, although the wide LED light bar at the front and split headlamp setup on the bumpers remain.

Tata previously announced during an investor presentation that the Sierra EV will be launched first, followed by the Sierra ICE. Specific launch timelines for the Tata SUV are still pending. The Sierra ICE is expected to feature 1.5-litre turbo petrol and diesel engine options, along with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. The Sierra EV may come equipped with a dual motor setup similar to the Harrier EV, enabling all-wheel drive (AWD).
