Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Overview
Chassis and Suspension
True to its name, the RX model is based on the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS. To obtain the RX designation, it has received several modifications aimed at improving the rider’s experience. The bike now offers sportier ergonomics, characterized by lower clip-ons that are positioned further away from the rider. Additionally, the foot pegs have been repositioned to a more rear-set and elevated stance.

Braking and Wheel Specifications
The braking system features twin, radially mounted Brembo Stylema calipers which ensure powerful stopping performance. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch wheels, fitted with Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres. Furthermore, the RX is equipped with advanced Ohlins EC 3.0 semi-active suspension along with an Ohlins SD EC steering damper for improved handling precision.

Powertrain Details
The RX is powered by a 1,163cc inline-three liquid-cooled engine delivering 183 horsepower at 10,750 RPM and 128 Nm of torque at 8,750 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Additionally, it features a specially designed Akrapovic exhaust. While the exhaust is made from carbon fiber and titanium, it does not contribute to a reduction in overall weight. The Speed Triple 1200 RX maintains a kerb weight of 199 kg, ranking it as one of the lightest motorcycles in the litre-class streetfighter segment.

Pricing and Market Availability
With production capped at just 1,200 units, the RX carries a price tag of around GBP 19,000 (approximately Rs 21.62 lakh), reflecting a GBP 1,500 (about Rs 1.70 lakh) increase from the standard Speed Triple 1200 RS. It remains uncertain whether Triumph will allocate any of these exclusive RX models for the Indian market.
