Vinfast VF6 Exterior Design
Sleek and Subtly Aggressive Styling
Vinfast first unveiled the VF6 in India at the Auto Expo 2025, and the design of the test mule remains consistent with that initial showcase. The front fascia features two distinct full-width LED strips that curve downwards in the center, forming a partial ‘V’ shape around the Vinfast badge. Below these strips are the main headlight units and turn indicators, complemented by a honeycomb-patterned air dam and ample black plastic cladding.
On the side, the VF6 is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and an additional layer of black cladding. The rear showcases a sloping roofline with full-width LED strips and tail-lamps positioned below, echoing the design cues found at the front. The VF6 measures 4,241mm in length, 1,834mm in width, and stands 1,580mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,730mm and a generous ground clearance of 190mm.
Vinfast VF6 Interior and Features
No Instrument Cluster or Driver’s Display

The interior of the VF6 boasts a clean and uncluttered layout, featuring a dual-tone color scheme, a low-set dashboard, and a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel with inset air conditioning vents. Notably, the VF6 omits a traditional instrument cluster or a digital driver’s display, instead offering a standard heads-up display in the India-spec model to project essential driving information.
A prominent 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen is positioned atop the dashboard, angled towards the driver, and accompanied by a series of controls underneath for drive selection and mode toggling. The remaining functions are exclusively operated through the infotainment system. In terms of comfort, the VF6 will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an 8-way powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, connected car technology, and more.
Comprehensive Safety Suite
In terms of safety features, the VF6 is equipped with seven airbags, front and rear disc brakes, rain-sensing wipers, rollover mitigation, rear park assist, blind-spot detection, automatic headlights, a tire pressure monitoring system, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake.
Vinfast VF6 Battery and Range
Performance Specifications

Powering the VF6 is a 59.6kWh battery pack connected to a single motor positioned on the front axle, resulting in an output of 204hp and 310Nm of torque. The claimed acceleration from 0 to 100kph is achieved in just 8.89 seconds, while the WLTP-certified range stands at an impressive 480km. The VF6 is also compatible with 7.2kW AC fast charging.
Vinfast VF6 Price and Rivals
Anticipated Competitive Pricing Through Local Manufacturing

The VF6 is expected to launch in India after the VF7, and local assembly from the outset may enable it to maintain a competitive pricing strategy. Once available, the VF6 is likely to compete against other electric SUVs such as the MG Windsor EV, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Mahindra BE 6, with most rivals positioned within the Rs 17-27 lakh (ex-showroom) price bracket.
